Terms of use / participation
ORGANIZERS
The non-profil company under the name "THE ART" (hereinafter "organizing company"), based at 117 Menelaou Parlama Street, Heraklion, Crete, organizes a promotion ("competition").
The contestants will be informed of the contest from the present website www.theartofsocialmedia.gr/en as well as the social media.
PARTICIPATION RIGHT
Persons who have reached the age of 18 have the right to participate. In case the participant is under 18 there must be consent from the parent or guardian.
PARTICIPATION EXEMPTIONS
Exceptions to the competition are executives and employees of the company "THE ART", as well as the spouses and relatives of the above natural persons by blood or by marriage up to the second (b) degree.
PARTICIPATION
Amateur and professional photographers from Greece and abroad are participating in the competition. The photo limit of each artist is five (5), one in each category.
FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS
The winners of the competition must, when sending the files for printing, deposit the amount of €25 for the printing costs (for every selected photo). The printing will be done on photochemical paper and will be pasted on KFIX 5mm thickness with aluminum foil, in dimensions 30x40cm, 30x53 or 40x40.
WAY OF PARTICIPATION
From the competition, the ten photos with the most points from each category will be selected with a rating of the jury.
The event starts on 01/03/2024 and ends on 30/04/2024. After the deadline, no more photos will be accepted.
In addition, participation with content that offends public decency, abusive, inflammatory, racist content, or the subject matter of the provisions in force or in any other way inappropriate at the discretion of the organizer will not be accepted.
The winners will be notified by email, where they will be asked to send the selected photo/s as well as the payment of the amount of 25€ for the printing costs.
Winners must respond within one week of the above notification. The deadline for submitting files and paying is June 15, 2024.
The winners, if they do not respond to the communication, lose the relevant right, at which time the organizing company is relieved of any obligation and has the right to proceed with the first alternate.
PRIVACY
We will collect and retain your personal information that is necessary for the execution of this transaction as well as to receive information about our activities and our products. These will be kept by us at our facilities, 117 Menelaou Parlama, Heraklion, Crete info@theartofsocialmedia.gr. These data will be accessible to our employees who are involved in our transaction or who are processing the information you consent to and to third parties who use us as processors to perform our transaction on our behalf or to provide us with services related to the purposes for which we collect your personal data. We will retain your details for the completion of the transaction and after that for the safeguarding of our legal interests or our legal obligations and until the limitation of any of your claims or ours against you or for 45 days from the present for the rest of the processing purposes. referred to herein or in other cases to which we are entitled or required by law. Your data may be transferred in or out of the EU for processing in accordance with the purposes hereof. In the event of their transfer outside the EU, the provisions of the current legislation will always be followed in order to fully ensure the confidentiality of all your relevant legal rights. In any case, you can contact us as mentioned above, to receive any information you want about your personal data, to request their modification, restriction, increase or discontinuation of their use, their complete or partial deletion. For any issue of processing your personal data that you consider to be illegal you can contact the Personal Data Protection Authority.
PARTICIPATIONS OF PHOTOGRAPHERS
Each participant, accepting the present terms of participation in the above competition, states unreservedly that he does not infringe any third party rights and especially copyright, the right to personality and the right to the name of any third party. During the contest, any comments defamatory, obscene, that infringe the copyright or other rights of third parties or that contain any illegal content will be deleted from the page. Participants must act lawfully and within the present terms and user and transactional ethics, taking solely any relevant civil or criminal liability.
The participants in the competition provide their consent and the authorization to the organizing company for the promotion of the competition and its results through the print and electronic press, social media. Thus, the company reserves the right to use and publish any news item related to the award for advertising purposes, and everyone's participation in the competition automatically has the consent. The winners, by accepting these terms, agree to the publication of the photographic material on the page of the organizing company as well as on social media.
