President of the Hellenic Photographic Society

He was born in Serres and is a retired Army Officer.

He has been involved in photography since 1990, participating in seminars by renowned photographers and photography teachers.

He is a graduate of the program "Perception and Art - Application in Photography and Photography Criticism" of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as the programs of photography criticism and portfolio.

She has been involved with the history and artistic movements that have influenced photography through the work of great photographers.

Since 2017, he has been the main judge of WikiMedia Greece (the Greek section of Wikipedia) for the photographs selected from Greece.

He is currently the president of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Photographic Society (EFE), the oldest artistic photographic association in Greece, which was founded in 1952 by leading photographers of the time such as S. Melentzis, E. Vlachou, K. Balafas, B. Papaioannou etc.

Since 2017 he is the Director of ATHENS FIAP EXHIBITION CENTER, one of the 21 international exhibition centers of FIAP.

He has authorial and educational work, teaching photography at EFE and organizing Workshops. As part of his duties, he has curated the presentation of the work of the greatest contemporary Greek photographers and, through the ATHENS FIAP EXHIBITION CENTER, important international photographers.

He has organized three solo photography exhibitions and has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Greece and abroad.  He has participated as a judge in many national and four international photography competitions.

He has organized numerous Panhellenic competitions as chairman of the organizing committee and eight international competitions.  He has curated many exhibitions at the Hellenic Photographic Society and other exhibition venues.
